MISSION
The purpose of the Association shall be to promote the organization of the Western Branch High School Band Parents who support the Western Branch High School band program by providing financial support and resources. These resources are used to provide, but are not limit to, musical instruments, repair needs, music education and related services, marching uniforms, color guard uniforms and equipment, concert band uniforms, band competition events and related travel expenses. We exist to foster music education, while providing supplemental services and needed equipment that is not provided by the Chesapeake Public Schools at Western Branch High School.

HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
Our volunteer hospitality committee is a dedicated group of parents, friends, and family of of the band who specializes in making all of our events feel very welcoming. All of our volunteers do their part to give each event a little of that southern charm and hometown feel! They are responsible for band dinners, banquets, meetings, concerts, and all special events. If you enjoy being around a team of busy smiling faces, then join our hospitality!
CHAPERONE COMMITTEE
Our volunteer chaperone committee is comprised of several volunteer parents/guardians and staff who are responsible for the safety and well being of our students while we travel. Our band performs off campus several times over the course of the school year. Chaperones are a vital part of our band, as they help with performance equipment, medical equipment, and student supervision. If you like to travel and enjoy bumpy bus rides on school buses, then join our Chaperone Committee!

BINGO FUNDRAISER
Our "Bingo" fundraiser is one of our biggest sources of revenue for the band. Bingo is a professionally run event that is conducted off-campus at Brentwood Hall in Chesapeake, VA. For those of you who haven't tried it, please ask any of our countless volunteers who have and I am certain they will share with you the fun of working with incredibly friendly players and the rewards of earning money for the band students! Our Bingo games are "every" Saturday from 10am-12pm. If you find yourself shouting "instants", "treasure chests", and "juicy plums" you might just want to check out our colorfully designed t-shirts on our Spirt Wear section!

CONCESSION STAND FUNDRAISER
During Football season, our dedicated Bruin Band volunteers fire up the grills and prepare to serve our hungry Western Branch Football Fans. From September through November, our culinary specialists can be found serving a variety of cusine, to include Chick Fila, Hotdogs, Nachos, and our latest creations the "Growler" and the "Carnivore". These two items are sure to satify your cravings! If you enjoy the excitement of Friday Night Football Games and the warm smell of popcorn and burgers, then sign up to be apart of our concession stand staff!
