Welcome to the home of the Western Branch Bruin Band!
Western Branch High School Band was established in 1968. It is deeply rooted in the heart of the Western Branch community. It has enjoyed a rich history of success in marching and concert band. The Western Branch Band performs at football games, basketball games, marching competitions, parades, pep rallies, and community events. Our primary mission is school and community support. There are several bands that students can select from to include: Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Spring Marching Band.
Our band is comprised of students primarily from Western Branch Middle School and Jolliff Middle School. We welcome all Western Branch instrumental students to participate with us. So come out and share your talents with us!
Whether you are a grandparent, parent/guardian, friend, community spectator, or the die hard musician, we hope that you have a positive and rewarding experience with our Western Branch Bruin Band. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or suggestions that you may have.

Our Philosophy
Western Branch Band is committed to producing independent musicians and productive citizens. Along with providing an environment that fosters a cultural, educational, service, and recreational atmosphere, the program promotes character education and its development through discipline, accountability, and responsibility. ​
