Welcome to "SOUND OF THE BLUE AND GOLD"

Our marching band program is a young group of dedicated students, committed to developing a positive relationship with our school and community.

 

Our program has emplaced within its walls a systematic approach to produce independent musicians and productive citizens.  Along with providing an environment that fosters a cultural, educational, service, and recreational atmosphere, the program promotes character education and its development through discipline, accountability, and responsibility.

Our marching band can be found performing for a variety of venues to include Friday Night Football Games, parades, marching competitions, pep rallies, and also in support of our military veterans and other community events.

 

The marching band is open to all ninth through twelth grade instrumental students who are enrolled in one of the high school concert band classes.

 

Young ladies wishing to participate as a member of one of our majorette, dance, or flag teams, our tryouts are conducted beginning in March.
